So you have just logged in or were using Crystal (In the Cloud) and, in your RDP Session Crystal is locked up tight. Restarting your session is only going to, well, restart your session - with the locked up Crystal program still sitting right there.
Doctors have called me frantic asking "what do I do? - I have restarted three times!
Remember - When you log into and RDP session you are just taking the elevator to the CLOUD - and EMPTY cloud - Until you call for Crystal to start - Then Crystal takes a ride to the cloud as well.
In this instance, Crystal's elevator is STUCK - so you can leave and come back all you want - Crystal is still stuck there.
What to do? - Try pressing ALT-SHIFT-F4 - But BE CAREFUL - These key combos Kill active programs so if you press them repeatedly you may close something you wanted to keep open (in your cloud session).
Hope this helps when you are really stuck!

This is a terrible solution. ALT-SHIFT-F4 is the same as clicking the red X to close the current active window.
prior to this I would suggest checking your internet speed on any of the free sites out there. If you have good speed, then call crystal for tech support on get a root cause of the issue.
-just saying, that's what I would do. another crystal user

When this happens to us, we can usually click "Start" in the lower left corner and then select "Logoff". This terminates the current session so you can log into a new one. Crystal has to be full screen in order to do this.
Hope this helps

Also, make sure that Crystal isn't "frozen" simply because there's a popup box hidden somewhere behind your program. Hover over you Crystal icon on the bottom to see any popups and pull them to the front to close out.

Actually the easiest way to get past this is to click on the bottom Crystal window and hit the Enter key on your keyboard. If there is a pop up window this will close it.

Sometimes, you need to know what you are closing. It may, actually be important so I would stick with Kristen on this approach...unless you know it's a crystal pop up window "bug" Kraig added just to annoy us...

When I said "really stuck" - I meant it. When you have tried closing background windows, tried these other (standard use) methods and your office works late seven days a week and everyone at Crystal has gone home - That is when you would try my tip. Sorry, I thought that would have been clear by reading the words "really stuck" Even this doesn't work sometimes, I know. It is just another tool to have at your disposal. - And here is another - You can also open another session of Crystal ( although this could get a little confusing for the average user) and use it "over" the locked up program in the background. Just pretend it is a screen saver - lol OR - If you have really savvy and have the ability to open ANY of your RDP sessions -you can open a session on the "locked up session" PC using another PC's RDP number. To clarify, You have an office with TEN PCs numbered RDP1 to RDP10. So your Crystal program is locked up on RDP01 and it is Late Saturday and you are open Sunday and need the PC (RDP01) at the front desk. If no one was using RDP10 you could connect to RDP10's Cloud session USING the RDP01 (or whatever that PCs name is). and Crystal could fix RDP01's session when they get in on Monday. - Make sense?
