Is there a way to tag patients with a particular criteria (ie insurance ) and bring to main patient screen. I think I may have asked before with no good answer. Any good current workable methods would be appreciated. Thank you

I'm not sure I understand what you want to do. You can only bring one pt to the patient screen at one time. You can create a correspondence report, uncheck NO Insurance Criteria and then enter your insurance criteria. When you generate the report you can click on any of the names and get to their patient screen that way. Is that what you're looking for? Marcia

We stopped taking Eyemed and have a unique offer for them instead . So when they call the office, I'd like that to show up on the screen somehow. Altho staff is trained adequately to recognize these situations, this would be another reminder...

I'd use the correspondence report to pull all the patients with Eyemed insurance then go to each patient from the list and create an alert and tag it for all pages (patient, billing, schedule, record).

Seattleod: I swear I responded to this the other day. I must be posting too much. If I understand correctly, you want to be able to assign an alert in bulk. As Grace said, that is not possible now but I can see where that would be a beneficial feature to request here: crystalpm.proboards.com/board/10/requests. I don't know what would be involved in making that happen but it would start with defining the population via the Correspondence Report, setting your alert conditions and then applying them to that population. We assign pop up alerts attached to the insurance company thru Admin. That way we only have to do it once. All patients with that insurance get the popup. Karen

I now see how to create alerts for any given insurance plan which is great but I wish It would pop up like the regular alerts. Unless I am doing it wrong, you have to click on the patient's actual insurance tab in order to see the pop up alert.

When you set the alert under Admin > Insurance, you can choose where it shows. (Patient, Billing, Schedule) Karen
