Recently our practice switched over to TriZetto. Ever since I've noticed a weird quirk that's caused some problems. When selecting "Ready" in the CMS form from the billing screen, the claim is no longer double checks for the ID number being present, so I've sent off quite a few w/ no ID! Is this a setting I can adjust? It still notifies me if I left out the sex or a diagnosis pointer, but that's it!
Thank you!

Thanks for THAT heads up. I tend to rely on the "your missing something" since there is so much else to do. I will no look for id's too.

I wish it also would alert when the second "signature on file" box was left blank. For some reason, that check box is constantly forgotten about and causes claims problems with trizetto.

I wish it also would alert when the second "signature on file" box was left blank. For some reason, that check box is constantly forgotten about and causes claims problems with trizetto. That is fixed in the insurance set up. I have never had any issues with the signature on file button because it's in admin>insurance>cms. Once I had one tested and working, I just copied it all over to the rest and the added the plans to auto calculate. I have used Crystal and trizetto at the same time (2013) and I have not had a single rejected claim for signature. You may want to have someone at Crystal help you set that up. The more automated, the less I have to remember. That's also why I spend the time to calculate plans. It is a pain but saves tons of time for the opticians and reconciliation later. Worth the effort to program all aspects to your needs...

I am referring to box 13. We do not get a prompt when this is not filled in. I did not see a place in the insurance section to address this, you must be referring to box 31, for the provider. Sorry, I didn't have a CMS form to look at when I posted that, or I would have been more clear as to which box I was referring to.
