So...I'm trying to make heads and tails of the meaningful use stage 2 requirements for medical records, clinical summaries and the portal.... I am clicking on every patient to upload medical hx and clinical summaries, setting usernames and passwords, and printing them on invoices. The problem is, I am not the only person who checks patients out, so many of the patient records are uploaded after the fact. I want to send an email with a link to the portal that they can click on and enter their username and password. Here is my request(s): a) let us have the option to set the username and passcode when we print the invoice b) let us print the username and passcode on the invoice with or without the portal link printed out c) give us somewhere to 'send email with link to portal', and they can enter the username and passcode that is printed on the invoice
This would help, it seems, because the 2 pieces of information are not together, and it can be set when they are checking out, instead of having to go to either the ARRA or Files sections. If something to this effect is already in Crystal, I would appreciate if anyone can help me find it. This is taking way too much of my time. I like automated!
