There is an option called "Print to PDF (remove blanks)" under the EHR Settings menu. What does it do? When I choose the "Print to PDF" option a Save Medical Records PDF file window opens for me to save the pdf file. But nothing happens for the remove blanks option.
Running version 4.0.26

Marcia, it prints the pdf with only the items that are checkmarked. It leaves out the others (blanks). I see it primarily on the med hx page.

Thanks, but I'm still confused. Where are you checkmarking items/what items are checkmarked? Marcia

In our medical history tab, for example, we have a listing of diagnoses...diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, etc. these are checkmarked if the patient has them. In the exam tab, there are checkboxes for conjunctiva clear, cornea clear, pinguecula, pterugium, etc, which the Dr checks off as needed. the 'remove blanks' feature only prints the ones with the checkmarked box (as a positive). I'm not sure what else it will leave off other than checkboxes, but it keeps you from seeing all the non-relevant selections. Hope this helps!
