Uploading Rxs directly to patient portal.

I was hoping from the print prescription screen, a button be added that would allow the prescription, contact lens or spectacle, be uploaded directly to the patient portal.  Currently I was informed that you have to save the Rx as a PDF and then upload it.  I was just wanting to make it more streamlined.

Hi Dr. W,

Are you using the Crystal PM PDF printer function? If not, try that first, it makes it easier to upload to the portal.

First add the printer:

File -> Print options -> Create Crystal PM PDF printer

When you print the prescription, be sure to select Crystal PM PDF printer - then hit print.

A Pop-up box will show up so you can add a description to this file (ie Spec Rx) then save.

Go back to patients -> files -> right click on the document (Spec Rx) -> upload file to online documents -> then upload file -> DONE

You don't have to save the file as PDF then find the file to put into the portal when using our PDF printer.
