When printing a letter with the medication list included both inactive and active medications are showing. Could you please give us the option to display only active medications on the medication list.
Thanks,
Judy

We haven't heard anything concerning this. Does anyone know of another way to print a letter that will display only the current, active medications? Thanks in advanced.

Using the medication grids will output any medication entered regardless of the status. The only way to avoid this would be to delete any medications you do not want listed. In your letter template, if you use the -169 value, the medications will have a date next to them.

Erica Since the medication list changes over time, I put an Allergy Today field and a Med Today field on my Hx tab that I send the med and allergy summary to. I use those in fields in reports. I hadn't noticed inactive drugs showing up in that but I double-checked it when I read this post. If I have the meds set to show all, they all show up in the summary but if I have it set to show active, only the active ones show up. So...I just looked to confirm the name of the pre-loaded application I used and they are not listed there any more. Is it not allowed any more? It still works. The command line has the destination FID under Fields and STM under Type for the med summary and STA under type for allergy summary. I'd been deleting discontinued meds but then I started wondering if we are supposed to keep them all since there is a log with the dates. Does anybody know if there is a problem with deleting them if they are no longer taking the med? Marcia

If a med changes dosages or formulary, it shows the previous and current so the dr can see the change easily. I don't think Crystal has a way to show the previous values.
