Can the Notes box (upper right corner) of each invoice specify if/when the claim was filed? For example, "claim batched 3/14/14".

Right now, there are several ways to see if the claim has been batched -
1. under each CMS form (Billing - Invoice - CMS form) - you will see on the bottom right corner "Printing Report" - click on that and you will see the history on this claim (Printed claim, added to batch, wrote to batch.. etc)
2. Reports - Claims Report - you have the option of CMS 1500 or invoice status - I like the invoice status - I'd pull that at the end of each day to make sure all invoices have been batched. For the vision claims that you have to manually file online, I put auth # and status on filing - filed 3/20/14 under notes so when I pull the invoice status report, it displays that my vision claims were also filed.

Thanks although it sure would be convenient to see this info from the invoice screen and not have to click into other windows. A line item in invoice or something. Thanks for considering!

It lets me "narrow" down the insurance but not the doctor. Am I doing something wrong?

It should break it down by doctor as well. Make sure all your invoices have a provider selected (top left corner). I can always log in and take a look as well if you need me to.

Hi grace, when you suggested pulling the claims report and choose "invoice status" you wrote for vision claims that we have to file manually you wrote that in the "notes" you write "filed 03/08/14" where is this "notes" section you are referring to that we can document that?

It's on the actual place you create an invoice. The top right hand corner is the invoice notes (does not print on invoice).

I always have a provider selected at the top of my invoices. I'm sure I'm just missing something - if we could get you to log in that would be great. How do we go about doing that?
