I know a few of you have been wanting this and it is available, please follow the steps to activate.
Go to EHR settings (when you have a record open) Page Options Clinical Decision Support
Check all the ones you would like use. The only missing is the Astigmatism and I've included the video on how to add them here.

gracecrystalpm can you give the directions for myopia and hyperopia for each eye, for both eyes and for none, because I think the preset ones are messed up because it's not working

If the patient is presbyopic, is there a way to for the Presbyopia code is show up first in the Assessment (and then with myopia/hyperopia/astigmatism following it)?

Hi Grace! This was a great video! I went ahead and set everything up and it worked great in the patient account I was in. However, it doesn't seem to activate when I move to my next patient. I have to keep clicking on the Clinical Decision Support in each patient account in order to see the Rx send Dx codes to the A/P screen. Thoughts?

My guess is there is probably an issue with how you have the "notification" settings set up for that particular Clinical Decision Support line. could you take a screenshot of the notification settings?? Click on the "notification" cell of the CDS line you want to edit. See photo

Hmm, I am not sure because everything looks correct there. You may want to go to the "criteria" cell for that row as well. The default "criteria" settings for all of these prescription related diagnosis codes pulls data from the Prescription Tab, the tab that transfers directly to the patient page. If you have a different tab in your medical record that the doc uses for refractions then those fields on the refraction tab are probably regular Med Rec Fields (like us, we have a refraction tab for the doc in the record. It has med rec fields set up to house the manifest refraction, and even Secondary and Third Rx spots for Reading only Rxs etc...In order for them to moved over to the "Final Prescription" tab the doc or scribe has to hit one of the spec Rx finalize buttons I have built in.. See photos)... If your clinical decision support is set up to pull from the Prescription Tab, which I assume it is, then your diag codes will not transfer correctly unless the Rx is finalized to that tab... I hope that makes sense? That is the only thing I could see it being at this point because I cannot replicate the issue on my end..

Attached is a screen shot of the criteria, set to pull from the prescriptions tab. We do have a refraction tab, but no one uses. it. We type in our Rx's to the prescription tab directly. Any thoughts on what I can do? maybe delete the refraction tab altogether? Attachments:

Hmm, Im sorry I am out of ideas!! The only thing left to do I think would be to contact Tech Support at Crystal and see if they can figure out the source of the issue. Like I said, I have tried to replicate it on my end and ours seems to be working just fine!

Crystal PM had the answer! Admin Tab > Employees > Double click doctor profile > Records Tab > uncheck "disable clinical decision"
TADA!!!
