When setting the text under Admin>Schedule>Schedule Page Defaults>Settings, you can incorporate fields and text to customize its appearance. eg: <-8>, <-10>-<-7> Ins: <-29>; <-30> Ins Notes: <-173>

Absolutely!! Keep in mind, that the more customizing you do to this section, the slower your schedule *may* load. If you do notice any performance issues, try to narrow down your customization.
Also, if you would like to toggle between the default options and your custom options, you can do so by going up to Schedule->Use Default Appt Text [Faster] This is a workstation specific setting.

How do you change the template for the schedule? Admin->Schedule Go to the Settings tab and you can click the fields button for a list of syntaxs that you can insert.

How do you change the background color for different appt types? (CL vs Medical vs Pediatric etc...)

When you are looking at the daily view for the schedule, you will have swatches on the left hand side or the bottom of the Crystal window. You can click on a color swatch to choose the color you want. Keep in mind that the generic statuses (available, off/lunch etc.) and the appointment types colors are shared. Example, if you change the swatch for Available, it will also change the color of your first appointment type.
I hope this helps!

Is there a way to set the schedule so I can look at the whole thing without scrolling down to later times or up for earlier. There seems to be room at the bottom of the sched to see the whole thing.

Also, Can it be set to see multiple doctor's schedules with 1 view? It's a pain to have to flip back and forth to different doctors to look at each schedule. One view would be so much more convenient.

Yes!! I do not like having to scroll up/down, would like for it to just be on one screen. The latest update to 5.2.6 allows enlargement of the window. They cleaned up a lot of the things we did not like about the old style scheduler, but also gave us the option to return to the old scheduler. I spent part of an afternoon getting the new one set up so that everyone in my office is on board with it now. It's worth it once you get used to it. Karen

On the Schedule page go to Schedule Options -> Display -> Default to Full View.

Is there any way to toggle single click sign-in/sign-out? Do you mean other than the checkbox in Admin> Schedule> Options? It's not currently an option from the scheduler, maybe you can submit it as a request for future update. Karen

Which schedule page are you talking about? the actual schedule or the admin page? Either way I do not see display under schedule options. We just had that update yesterday and now my screen is bigger and more annoying.

We just had that update yesterday and now my screen is bigger and more annoying. at the top of the schedule page (very top), you should see File Configuration, etc. All the way to right is Schedule Options. Click there, top of list should be Display Options. From there you can check Default to full view and change font size. You can also resize your screen under Configuration. If set current screen size as default is checked, you can un-check it and resize the window so you can see more of your schedule. It takes some playing with, but we've gotten used to it. (tip: at left of the time slots (on the left of the schedule) click the grey lines (it's a flyout) to see a whole month, switch from schedule view to template view and print or refresh the schedule. You will have to either scroll down or enlarge the window to get to Refresh. That is inconvenient, but so what else is new) Karen
