It becomes cumbersome to return frames to the manufacturer when each time you return a frame it takes you back to the main Inventory screen. Most of the time we return a group of frames to the manufacturer because the rep pulls them when they come to the office every few months. I would request that if you return a frame it should take you back to the frame manufacturer list you were on when you selected the frame.

-Monica I agree that making returns to manufacturer under crystal is very ineffective and too generalized for me. I wish it would be better. It would be much better if there was a way to return multiple frames at once and that it would print out some sort of a receipt showing the frames we returned by date, UPC, Manuf, Brand, Model, Size, Color, Qunatity, Purchase Price, Wholesale price with a total expected credit at the bottom. Currently I am only able to pull out a transaction report that shows date, UPC(which is too general, the UPC does not tell me what frame we returned. I need it more specific. Example: Rayban 5106, color 2034, size 52-16), Action(return to manufacturer which is to general again. I need it to specify which manufacturer. Example: Luxottica, Silhouette, etc), Quantity, Employee Purchase price & List Price. Can you guys let me know how to modify this report to show the things I want it to show? or can you guys modify this report in the next update? I think a lot of office would benefit from it because as it is, it is not efficient for any one to track their credits. Please let me know. Thanks, Hector hector@sboptometrist.com

Our previous system would print a summary by Manufacturer for all outstanding credits including date of return, date of purchase, list price, purchase price, invoice number, and all the frame info. It could be reprinted any time. It also allowed us to pull up a list by Manufacturer of the frames we were waiting for credit on and let us clear them when we received the credit. Very efficient, user friendly, and saved LOTS of time. I agree the UPC really isn't how we "speak" frames. We need mfg, name, color, size... I'm willing to help be part of a group to put specs together of what would be useful for the offices if that is helpful.
