how do we delete contacts that we had in inventory but no longer carry inventory for? i don't want to just make the quantity 0 but want to remove the contact lens completely out of inventory

Not sure you can or should. Even though it seems unnecessary, it might skew old data in the system. Reports that reference the contact could no longer do that.
