Does anyone use Frames Data for inventory entry? if so are you using a CD or a flash drive? What are the steps to upload data from CD? If we load data from CD, what happens with previously saved data? Please advise, we are looking to enter a huge order and would like to do it in the most efficient fashion, we think importing info from frames data instead of entering manually will save us a ton of time, additionally, manufacturer is offering to include frames data subscription with our order. Thank you!

We use the Frames Data CD and it saves alot of time entering in all the frame information. When I upload the new CD, crystal shows it deletes the old frames data file and uploads the new one. I don't think it deletes the frame info you already enter because we have a few frames we had to enter in manually and they were deleted. I would recommend transitioning all your frames to use the frames data info because it save ALOT of time. A plus is the frame fax info shows up in the invoice notes box so your optician can use it for the VSP frame calculations.

We use the Frames Data download and it works great, and saves a ton of time. I know it's expensive, but having someone enter the data manually would be much more expensive. One downside is the fact that not all frame suppliers use their service, so those frames must still be entered manually.
