Adding potential patients to waitlist

Since we have been spacing out appointments out more we've been making a lot of use of the Waitlist. The problem we have is when someone calls about making an appointment, we can't add them to the Waitlist without first adding them to Crystal as a patient. This is inconvenient if they end up not becoming a patient. It would be good if we can add people to the waitlist with their name and phone/contact info without having to put them in the database as a patient. Currently my work-around is Tommy Testpatient, but I don't see that as the best solution.
