Can you print upcoming appointments without including the cancelled appointments? We often print the upcoming appointment list for patients (both because it's helpful for them but also because we have been losing appointments in crystal recently and then at least the patient can show us that it's our fault and they didn't just get the date wrong) BUT when we print the upcoming appointments, it also prints cancelled appointments, which confuses the patients. It doesn't make any sense because they're not upcoming since they're cancelled. Is there a way to fix this in admin or are there settings somewhere where we can change what prints and what doesn't?

Just curious..where/how are you printing the upcoming appointments for the patient? We have never done that and I'm interested in seeing if it would be useful. Thanks

On the patient page when you first pull someone up in Quick View, in between the doctor listed and the patient's next appointments, there are two buttons right next to each other - one says "print prev appts" and one says "print next appts". Our old system (which was terrible) allowed you to print appointments but you could say if you wanted all appointments scheduled ever printed or just the appointments that are current appointments. So far, I can't figure out if that's possible in Crystal.

Thanks for the reply! We've used Crystal for 14 years and have NEVER used either of those buttons! I guess because we have used appointment cards to hand out. I just tried it, good to know it's there, especially the previous appts. Since it does include the cancelled appts, I can see us using that! I'm sorry your patients find it confusing to include the cancelled appts, but I don't see a way to exclude them. I think it's ok to see that the appt they had scheduled was cancelled, the only way to get around that would be to delete the appt instead of cancelling it, and I don't recommend that. We like to see how many times a patient has cancelled/missed and rescheduled. You lose that with delete. Good luck, and thanks again!
