I would like to request the addition of multiple billing codes for the frames defaults page. For example we sell a poly lens and then transition is an add-on. So there is two billing codes. We would like to be able to have poly transition as one selection and have it put two codes with the pricing into the bill. Currently we have to have poly as the lens type and transition as a tint which is confusing for the employees and we have trouble with submitting to our dvi system as well this way. Since technically is a lens not a tint. this is just one of the many examples. this would help resolve so may issues.
Thanks

a highlighter...I am not being mean. We have to break down every line item with a separate billing code for insurance purposes...even if patient is self pay. we use vision web and have had no issues with ordering once we started highlighting the "specials" needed in the lens.
I do not know how DVI integrates into crystal so I can't say for sure but vision web is a free service that does work well.

Yes, we also separate everything for insurance. Poly is material, add on to lens code, along with transitions, AR or scratch coat. Actually keeps things simple, just build up from the bottom.

We have the poly under material, trans under tint... no problems with DVI - our opticians would DEFINITELY let me know. The only difficulty we had was trans & polarized. We post the transitions and under the other have Drivewear Polarized - this is the only outlier we've found). We've been on Crystal for 2 1/2 yrs and our opticians never posted before - everything was on a paper invoice. They caught on very quickly and really like it. No more having to look up fees from a fee book. -Monica
