I would be a huge time saver for us being a large office to be able to run a report for lets say patients that are past due or patients we need to send a bill to, and then print letters for all of them at one time. Currently we have to pull up one patient at a time and generate the letter in word and print it, then repeat for each patient. when we do 50 to 100 of these in a day this is a full time job for this.
Thanks

Have you tried making up a Word document template? That would do what you are asking, but I have not set one up specifically for billing, so it may not have all the fields you want.

As near as i can tell you cannot have more that one patients information in a template. We are looking for a way to printout all of our patient past due notices for example in a few clicks, vs opening each patient to print one out.

If you make up a letter template in Word, go to Admin-MS Word in Crystal, and click the button to generate template file, it will give you all the fields available to add to your template. You add, for example,Dear «First_Name» «Last_Name», and save the letter as Past Due Letter. Then when you pull your report, send it to Word and select the Past Due Letter doc from where you have it stored. It will fill in each letter with the information from your report list. Some field options are: Patient Balance: «Patient_Balance» Insurance Balance: «Insurance_Balance» Total Balance: «Total_Balance». It won't have the same look as an invoice, but maybe you can make it work for you. Of course, you may have tried all this already, but I do use that for all my postcards.
