I would like to see a prompt to add default user name and password for patient portal at sign in. This will allow (I believe) the link, username and password to print at the bottom of the receipt at check out even if medical record has not been uploaded yet. Or even better not a prompt to click but a notification that default username and password has been set up or has already been set up(why click default and add buttons???) Right now my staff has to click patient to sign in then go to Patient - Files - Online - Portal - Default - Add, lot o clicks! And only on click to set default username/password and add.
Okay, one more thing... Upload medical record & upload clinical summary should be the same button, kills two birds with one stone!

I am making my front desk set default as soon as they sign in so it prints on invoice. It only works as well as the person sitting in that chair. I fear when he goes to lunch... It gets chaotic to say the least.

prompt or Or even better not a prompt to click but a notification that default username and password has been set up or has already been set up(why click default and add buttons???) Or better yet, just do it. As long as we know that is what Crystal is doing behind the scenes, we don't need a popup notification. Have an opt out for offices that don't want to do that. I'm not sure where Crystal is storing the user and pw data now or how they are tracking it. It seems like they may be connecting to the Crystal server and checking first. Even if they can't keep the info on the local database (due to security concerns or something) , they could still log whether is has been set or not locally. If it shows a user name and password is already set, leave it alone. If it's not, set it to default. Whatever it is will print on the invoice (if set up that way) so they will know what it is. If a patient wants something different you can always change it. It would also be great if we could view the user and pw settings directly (on additional Info or the Files tab? ) or at least have the set default or change and update with one click, without going through all the layers to get to it. A potential problem with that, at least if doing bulk meds rec uploads, is that the clinical summary is supposed to be customizable, no? Marcia

Yes, that's even better - Have the whole process done behind the scenes, no clicks needed. The fewer clicks for my staff and I the better! Any function that we have to do the same thing every time should have few or no clicks, maybe a confirmation balloon that it's done.

Marcia I don't think the customizable part would affect the uploading, but I am not a programmer : ) . This MU2 is creating too much extra work for myself and my staff. So the more streamlined the better. Hopefully the programming upgrades to CrystalPM will continue making things easier. Also, a check box in Admin/ Company/ General "Automatically set up username and password at sign in" would work. John
