Default method of insurance payment

When entering insurance payments for individual invoices, the default method of payment is always "Check". It would be great if it was possible to assign a default method of payment for each insurance company, so if I get electronic payments from VSP, then I could set the default for VSP to "Electronic Funds Transfer".
