I have had many conversations about this.
I would love to track my cost of goods but there is no way to track lens cost without being able to add invoice $ amount somewhere. I would love it to be a simple box on the frame page with the (possibly) of amount showing up on invoice notes the same way frame upc does. It would help me make sure we are not "over discounting" and give me a TRUE purchase price when I run the sales report.
At this point the only purchases it can truly calculate is the "static" contact lens pricing (we only use one vendor) and the frame cost and the VSP One pricing for AR. Lenses are never able to be added because every lab and order has too many variables to add to the admin:billing codes:purchase price area.
