I have asked about this before, have not seen a resolution yet, so I'm bringing it up again. When patients have the same insurance company for both primary and seconday (through spouse, for example), Crystal does not allow me to transfer from 1 to 2. The insurance adjustment window shows both insurances, but when I try to transfer, I get the message 'insurance cannot be transferred to itself'. This has been a problem since we've been using Crystal, and no one seems to be interested in fixing it. Currently, I have to modify the CMS to file to secondary. If Crystal can 'see' primary, secondary, and tertiary, it should be able to recognize the id numbers or have some way to allow transfer, other than setting 'plans' for each one.

Brainstorm - I moved the secondary over to the primary tab and regenerated the CMS - does anyone else think this is a backwards way to file claims??

The developers have been made aware of this recently but I do not have an ETA on when this will be resolved.
