I've got several requests for the meds listing function Dosage- we need an easier way to select the dosage. It takes forever to scroll through the various options, especially if that med is available in a combo drug (eg metformin). Can the dosage be pulled out as a separate field? We select the drug/combinaton of drugs and then select from eligible dosages for that item? And how do we handle it if a pt is to cut a pill in half?
Dosing Frequency- Unless I'm missing it, we still can't enter it. Frequency is a required element for PQRS and MU.
Branded Drug names- this is still broken. When we pick a branded drug, only the generic name is displayed. The brand name drug is not identified in brackets in the meds list like it should be (and is in the Allergy list).
Auto enter med we Rx into the meds list- All the info is somewhere in the system. It makes no sense for us to have to manually add it to the med list the next time the patient comes in.
PLEASE increase the default height of the Medication Add window. This is a simple fix. Currently, it only displays 2 meds at the default size. All the extra height is added to the med listing table so just making it ~1 inch taller increases it to 10 drugs at once. There is plenty of room for an even larger window. It is not at all uncommon for elderly patients to have 15 or more items to review.
Thanks, Marcia
