We have a little bit of an issue with frame inventory in crystal. We have two offices connected to one database. The way the frame inventory is set up every frame I add to my inventory, it's data also goes into the other clinic's inventory. The quantities are correct, but our concern is that when it comes time to verify the inventory, we will have a list of several hundred or more frames that show 0 scanned, 0 inventory making inventory confusing and tough to find mistakes (if a frame is lost or stolen). Is there a way that you guys can set up the system so that the information for the frames that I add are not added to our other clinic's inventory? Is there a way that we can delete frames from that list as well (for example we sold a frame that we don't want back)? If not, can it be added? I apologize if this is confusing, please let me know if you need any clarification or if there is anything that can be done. Thanks!

You are actually able to select the office location in the upper left corner, which will give you location specific quantities as well as enable to you properly verify inventory.
As for what frames actually show in your inventory, unfortunately these will be visible at all locations. You do, however, have the ability to hide frames that have a zero quantity.
To completely delete a frame, go to Inventory and select the specific frame, and under that frame page you will have a button to completely delete the frame, but it will remove the frame from ALL locations. Also, be aware, when you run your end of year reports this frame will show up as an unknown, so you may not want to actually delete frames until the first couple days of the year.

Thank you for your help and the tips. We were wondering if we could request a fix that would keep the frame information separate for each location. Is this something that can be looked into? Please let me know either way. Thanks again!

Please let me know either way. Thanks again! That would be a tough one simply because you are using the same database. The current solution would be to just use 2 separate databases. However, you are more than welcome to enter this into the request section for the developers to see.

can we delete contact lenses also? Most definitely! Once you get to the lens you'd like to remove, just hit the Delete key on your keyboard, then answer yes when it asks if you want to delete them from the watch list.

Is there a way to delete collections? We've got some really only ones we haven't carried in years. I can't find a way to do it. The only way I can find to delete a frame is actually double clicking each frame and hitting the delete button.
