Is there a report that I could run that would tell how many appointments (by type) a patient has had in a certain time frame? We are trying to track our VT patient's appointments without having to actually count them every so often. (Just so you know, our VT practice is still on paper and is not EHR so I can't use the record portion of the program to help with that report.)
The doctor thought there was a "referral/authorization" tracker (ie, referral allows 6 visits and then an alert would come up stating that those 6 visits are complete and patient needs another referral) in the system but I don't think it exists. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

The only thing that comes to mind would be a schedule report. After you generate the report, double click on the type then sort it by patient. You will still have to count the appointments by type but it's better than going into each patient individually.
