Since version .14C was released, we have been receiving several calls about an Unhandled exception error when trying to type information into their schedule, added files and patient notes, stating:
"Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt."
It didn't take long to realize that every one of these computers had the antivirus AVG 2015. At this time, the solution is to add the CrystalPM program folder to the file exceptions in AVG. To do this:
1. Click on Options in top right corner. 2. Select "Advance Settings" 3. Click "Exceptions" then "Folder" 4. Add your CrystalPM program folder, typically located at C:\Program Files (x86)\CrystalPM 5. Don't forget to click Apply! 6. Close the Crystal program and reopen. You're good to go!
We are currently working on a solution that will keep AVG from blocking Crystal software in the future.
