What happens with PQRS on Oct 1? The conditions currently use ICD-9 codes and when I looked under Admin/PQRS I didn't see anything relating to ICD-10 codes. Marcia

There will be a new update that will adjust for ICD-10 and PQRS.

Hey Kraig... what is the ETA on when the update for the PQRS will be avail? Also, once the update is avail, if we download it on the last day of the month then obviously we will have it for Oct 1 but if we download it prior to the last day of the month then will it goof up all the current PQRS info?

We are getting down to the last few days before go live date for ICD-10 and the new PQRS. Our Dr is really antsy about when the update will be and if we should be deleting the ICD-10 codes that are not active codes and will result in a denied claim if used.

Is there a resource for the new codes required for PQRS so that I might manually set them? What's the status of Crystal having the PQRS update?

Per Dr T Ask on forum if PQRS codes were all updated when we did the big update for ICD 10 and installed the latest version of Crystal... anyone know?

I received an email from Kraig. The PQRS expert, Merisa, is out of the office for a couple of days. He emailed me a new preset list to import, but it didn't work, possibly because the codes are missing the "dot" (Ex: H4010x0 vs H40.10x0). I let him know, so hopefully they're working on it. We acquired the list of PQRS codes and the DX codes they pair with from AOA. www.aoa.org/PQRS The actual PQRS codes are the same they just increased the number of DX codes that may be matched with them since there is now like 5 ICD-10 codes per the normal 1 that ICD-9 had.
