I'm trying to put together a definitive list of labels that DO and DON'T work with the Dymo printer. If you're using something out of the ordinary, please post the label as well as the Crystal settings you're using so others will have more to choose from. Dymo Labelwriter Turbo 450 goo.gl/knU7c2Recommended label: Archcrown DT390 goo.gl/53B4EwDOES NOT WORK: Archcrown DT391 7/8" x 15/16" with rat tail. I know for a fact anything smaller than 1 1/8" x 1 1/8" will not work, as you will be unable to fit a 12-13 digit UPC code and be able to scan. Typical settings in Crystal for the above printer and label are:

We have a label with a rat tail that we use in our office. The labels can be purchased HERE Under Devices and Printers, we set the Orientation to Landscape, and the paper to 30252. The settings we used in Crystal are (note the blank line at the top):
The final result looks like:

Thank you Deborah. I have been looking for this solution for 4 years. Well. I gave up after 2 months, but thanks. Your instructions worked perfectly.

Is there any way we can increase or decrease certain fields on the label? I want to increase the size of the price and decrease the size of the model number. Thanks.

When I go to the link provided for the rat tail tags, it says "Compatible with the Dymo printer only when using the Compulink advantage software". I assume that it's working for you without the Compulink Advantage software, right?

Just to clarify, by "setting the Orientation to Landscape in Devices and Printers" you are talking about going to the Windows Devices and Printers and right clicking the Dymo Printer, selecting Printing Preferences and setting to Landscape and the paper type, correct? And the Crystal template example you gave does NOT have Landscape checked and that is OK? Marcia

The font adjustment affects all areas.

I don't see an answer regarding this question: do we still need the Compulink Advantage software for the rat tails recommended by Deborah?

I was wondering if there are times where the UPC labels are unreadable by the bar code scanner? If yes, what are some viable solutions? We just bought a Dymo 450 Turbo, rat tail labels and tried some sample labels. Is there a way we can stretch the bar code out since there is about 1cm of space to the right of it? Not all bar codes not scanning though.

I love the setting from the initial post. My current problem is the scanner. It doesn't seem to like the spacing on the rat tail. I have the latest version of Nadamoo, off of Amazon. Is anyone else having this problem?

We've been using the DT-390 labels for the dymo printers, but suddenly over the last couple weeks they are not printing the labels. We thought it was our DYMO label maker and purchased a new one. I got the new one in and it is spitting out several of the labels but nothing is printing on them (the same thing our old dymo machine was doing). Then the pop up shows "error." I printed something with the labels DYMO provided for a shipping label and that worked fine..
I was just wondering if anyone else was having problems with the DT-390 labels as of late? OR maybe if I need to change a setting or if their is an error with the software..
Please help--- thanks!!!
